United Tile's Online Shipping Policy


On-line order processing is Monday-Friday of each week, excluding public holidays. Please allow 24-48 hours for online orders to be entered. We recommend that you do not schedule installation until you receive your order.

Freight is a pass-through cost. We cannot quote these freight charges until we know the quantity of the product being shipped and the ZIP code to which it will be sent. We will be pleased to quote you freight charges when we have this information. You may select and arrange your own shipping arrangements if you prefer.

* Packing charges: Material shipped from United Tile will incur a packing charge. The rate starts at $10.00 and goes up depending on weight and amount of material.

* Residential deliveries: The driver will place the material on the tailgate of the truck. You are responsible for meeting them at the designated time and for unloading the materials from the tailgate. Most products are shipped on pallets containing individual cartons weighing between 25 and 80 lbs. each.

* Commercial deliveries: Orders may be sent to a commercial location that can be accessed by semi-trucks and trailers. Unless previously arranged, no advance notice will be given of arrival and someone must be available to receive and unload the product during normal business hours Monday-Friday.

* Delivery options: There are several ways in which an order can be expedited and shipped and costs that vary with the service being provided. We will do everything possible to meet your requirements.

* Sample Delivery: Sample delivery begins at a rate of $10; additional freight charges may be assessed, depending on the weight.

* Stock vs. Special Order
Stocking items are materials that we have on hand in our warehouses in Portland, OR and Renton, WA. Stock is subject to change. Please allow 1-3 business days for stock transfers between warehouses.
Special Order items are materials that we must order for the supplier. Lead times are set by the supplier.

* Order Status: Your order will be processed in the order it was received. Once your order is placed United Tile will send you a confirmation via email.
