From Heritage Copper to Silver Nickel, each piece has a cast metal patina that beautifully complements surfaces as varied as antique terra cotta, the engaging palettes of stone and the vast array of choices of traditional ceramic tile.

Series Exchange

All Sonoma Series' with exception of Tantrum - Estate Metals glazes are available on all Artisan, Reserve, Star, Stellar, and Tribeca.

Technical Characteristics

Body and Glaze - Estate Metals are made from a stoneware body. The metal surface is made from a resin epoxy coat that encapsulates the metal over this ceramic body.

Sealing - Seal the edges prior to grouting, the surface comes pre-sealed, but it may wear down over time. Sealing in the future is suggested.

Variation = 4+ - Metals may oxidize over time. To help restore, use steelwool cloth minimally (too much use could expose stoneware body).

Usage - Intended for use on walls. Metals did pass freeze-thaw tests for outdoor use. However, metals will oxidize at a more rapid rate.

SPECIAL INSTALLATION NOTE: Estate Metals SHOULD NOT BE USED WITH EPOXY GROUT.
